Hidden Hollow Nursery is a wholesale bareroot liner company located on the
rich, loamy valley soils of the southern Cumberland Plateau. A long growing
season coupled with our relatively cold winters allows our liners to reach
significant size and harden off sufficiently to ensure successful transplant.

Hidden Hollow Nursery focuses on propagating only high quality grafted
liners. We enjoy the challenge of grafting traditionally difficult to
propagate woody ornamentals. Browsing our site, you will find over 70
different cultivars, including many varieties of Cercis, Cornus, Hamamelis,
Liquidambar, Liriodendron, and Nyssa, among others. We also custom grow many
more plants than are listed in our catalog. We pride ourselves on finding
promising new cultivars and quickly making them available to the trade.

We begin digging some plants in December, and our main shipping season begins
in February. While some species such as Cercis are healed in, many soft-
rooted plants, such as Magnolia, are dug to order to minimize any excessive
storage. We ship material through March via UPS, motor freight, or truck.
Pick up is always welcome.

We are a small, family nursery, and, because of that, we are able to
accommodate our customers’ individual needs and develop good relationships
with each of them. These connections continue to inspire us and keep our
passion for plants alive.
